Sing a Song

Pumpkins are orange! Here is a pumpkin poem to read together.

Cut into a pumpkin;
Scoop it with a spoon;
Carve a little mouth
That is shaped like a moon.
Cut two eyes to twinkle,
And a big three cornered nose.
Use for teeth, ten shiny seeds,
And place them in a row.

Today’s color is orange. Help your child name as many foods that are orange as possible. Some examples – oranges, cheddar cheese, and sweet potatoes. Make a meal with only orange food!
